DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier has disscussion with the Latino Community

On Saturday, July 14, DC Latino leaders met with Police Chief Cathy Lanier. The event took place at Vida Senior Center. The Chief met with concerned Latino Community leaders, that were particularly interested to hear how the implementation of a controversial program called Secure Communities would affect the Latino Community. The meeting with the Chief of Police lasted about 90 minutes, as you took questions from people in attendance. Some of the attendees were: Jose Sueiro, Roxana Olivas, Rosa Rivas, Maria Patricia Corrales, Roland Roebuck, Jackie Reyes, and Franklin Garcia.
