Black Fathers Matter – Black Lives Matter Motorcade in DC

Community leaders came together to host a motorcade event during Father’s Day. The event was combined with support for the Black Lives Matter movement. The motorcade started at 1 PM on June 21, 2020 in front of the historical African American Civil War Museum, and traveled for 2 hours throughout most of the city, concentrating in Wards 5, 7 and 8. The motorcade ended at the Saint Elizabeth R.I.S.E Demonstration Center in Ward 8.
