The Washington Nationals won the 2019 Baseball World Series. To celebrate their victory, Washington DC hosted a welcoming parade. The parade took place on November 2, 2019 on Constitution Avenue, NW from 15th Street NW to 3rd Street NW. The parade started at 2pm and ended with a rally at 5pm near the West Lawn of the US Congress. Thousands of Washington Nationals fans showed their support by lining up along Constitution Avenue wearing the Nationals colors in all kinds of Nationals gear. The Nationals won the first two games of the World Series against the Houston Astros, but lost all 3 home games. The final score was 4-3 (Nationals – Astros).
